scores. Greenwood (1890-1977) was an American actress in theater, film, and radio, who performed in the stage play "Out of
this World" (1950-51) and as Aunt Eller in the film adaptation of "Oklahoma!" (1955). She also had her own comedy radio program,
"The Charlotte Greenwood Show" in the mid-1940s.

This collection consists of Charlotte Greenwood (1890-1977) scripts, photographs, newspaper clippings, playbills, and music
scores. Greenwood (1890-1977) was an American actress in theater, film, and radio, who performed in the stage play "Out of
this World" (1950-51) and as Aunt Eller in the film adaptation of "Oklahoma!" (1955). She also had her own comedy radio program,
"The Charlotte Greenwood Show" in the mid-1940s.
Biographical / Historical
Charlotte Greenwood (1890-1977) was an American actress in theater, film, and radio. She was known for her high kicks in dance
and performance, as she was almost six feet tall. "Out of this World" (1950-51) was her last theater performance. Her most
well-known movie role was as Aunt Eller in the film adaptation of "Oklahoma!" (1955). From 1944-1946, Greenwood had her own
comedy radio program, "The Charlotte Greenwood Show."
