Scope and Content of Collection
This collection documents the work of Emerita Library Faculty member, Kristin “Kris” Ramsdell. The collection contains materials
that cover her teaching, service, and professional development commitments as a faculty member at the university. Ramsdell
was instrumental in creating the information literacy courses at California State University, East Bay. Her papers document
the evolution of the information literacy credit courses on campus, as well as her extensive service on university, library,
and professional committees. While her papers related to her extensive and influential work as a scholar and reviewer of romance
books will be housed in another archive (The Popular Culture Library at Bowling Green State University), her curriculum vitae
and presentations showcase the range and depth of her knowledge.
