Suzanne Jill Levine (October 21, 1946 - ) is an American professor, scholar, critic and translator of twentieth century Latin
American literature, and published writer and poet born and raised in New York. She earned her Bachelor's from Vassar College
in 1967, a Master's at Columbia University in 1969, and her Doctorate at New York University in 1977.
