Biographical Note
Zenʼichirō Uchida was a former Japanese Imperial Army soldier who fought in the Philippines and New Guinea. Originally from
Kushikino, Kagoshima, Japan, he helped arrange refugee visas for several hundred people from Kagoshima to the United States.
