Description
This collection consists of the teaching files and curriculum vitae of USC School of Architecture professor Richard Berry (1927-2000).
Background
Richard Berry (1927-2000) was a USC faculty member from 1963 to 1988 where he conducted studies exploring the nature of the design process, team problem-solving behavior, and planning methodologies applicable to the building of new communities in addition to teaching architectural design courses. Berry designed community plans for Baldwin Hills, Inglewood, Irvine, Oxnard, Santa Monica, Santa Rosa and South Gate in California.
