Abstract: Alyansa ng mga Kababayan is the Pilipino/Pilipino-American umbrella student organization under the Cross-Cultural Center at
the University of California at Irvine. Their mission is to provide students a network of Pilipino/Pilipino-American organizations
and advocate for the needs of the Pilipino/Pilipino-American community. The collection comprises of materials from events
and programs such as postcards, flyers, posters, and planning documentation; administrative files including minutes and notes
from the Kaba board; correspondence; membership information; newsletters; a certificate from the California state legislature;
exhibit materials; and photographs from various student organizations under the umbrella including Alyansa, Kababayan, Pilipino-Americans
in Social Studies (PASS), Filipinos Unifying Student-Engineers in an Organized Network (FUSION), and the Pilipino Pre-health
Undergraduate Student Organization (PUSO). There are 7 CDs of born digital photographs.

Transferred from the Cross Cultural Center, circa 2000 and 2016-2017; Manny Deleon, 2019; and Kamille Suayan, 2019. Materials
separated from UCI Clubs and Organizations publications (PS-033) were added to the collection in 2020. Materials added to
collection in 2023 through transfer by club.
