Biographical/Historical note

Architect Samuel Charles Bugbee helped plan the Stanford family home in Palo Alto, and perhaps also contributed to the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers in the late 19th century.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of three sketchbooks and some loose drawings on onion skin paper. Most of the drawings are either portraits or sketches of interiors and exteriors.
