Scope and Contents

This collection includes photos of the interior and exterior of the hospital, staff, and patients, all from the 1950s through the 1980s. Formats include prints, negatives, negative strips, slides, and glass plate negatives.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research. The UCSF Archives and Special Collections policy places access restrictions on material with privacy issues for a specific time period from the date of creation. This series contains images of the exterior and interiors of the hospital from 1950 through the 1970s. It includes images of Mission Emergency in the 1950s, interiors of surgery and patient rooms, facilities rooms and equipment, construction, gardens, and building exteriors.
