Scope and Contents
Handwritten lectures on auscultation, percussion, inspection, and history of anatomy, written in a clear hand in ink on lined
paper, from October 1846 at an unidentified institution by an unattributed author. A single page, written in pencil, is dated
26 October 1851. The manuscript appears to be transcripts of lectures to be delivered to a medical school class by the speaker,
with cross-outs and corrections; some lectures begin with the salutation, "Gentlemen". Lecture IV pertains to percussion and
auscultation. The November 17th lecture is a welcome to medical studies and a history and outline of the study of anatomy.
