Scope and Content Note

Scope and Content Note

Consists of drafts, and reprints of, and correspondence and publicity materials related to, Gibbs' writings and publications. These include journal articles; book chapters, outlines, and reviews; conference presentations; lectures; monographs; op-ed pieces; and work from graduate school. Includes different versions of Gibbs’ memoir, and her University of California, Berkeley oral history. There are also case studies, and grant and research materials related to Gibbs’ work on young Black males, depression in adolescent females, bi-racial adolescents, British youth, and Los Angeles post-Rodney King. Please note. there is some overlap with Series 4, Professional Activities.
