Scope and Contents

This series, 1942-1995, includes Dickmann's resumes, birth and death certificates, academic records, Air Force records, financial records, AIDS-related medical records, appointment calendars, floppy disk printouts, drawings, autograph books, and other memorabilia. The floppy disk printouts include a variety of Dickmann's writings, including diary entries, correspondence, and unpublished articles.

Writings Series 2. 1973-1995

Scope and Contents

This series, 1973-1995, comprises clippings of articles written by Dickmann primarily related to theater, film, restaurants, and cultural criticism; personal writings, including unpublished drafts and notes; interview transcripts, notes, and manuscripts with various celebrities; and early columns and reviews written under the pseudonyms Pola del Vecchio or Ken Fantastic. Included are articles written for Kaleidoscope, Data-Boy, Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Frontiers, Edge, Advocate, Bravo, and others. Note that additional writings may be within printouts from Dickmann's floppy disks, which can be found in the Personal Papers Series.
