Biographical / Historical

Jack Nealon researched film history at archives throughout Southern California. His research culminated in volumes of materials and an exhibit that reflected each decade of USC's School of Cinematic Arts history, beginning in 1929.

Scope and Contents

Collection consists of USC Cinema Historical Project materials compiled by researcher Jack Nealon. Materials include oral histories, correspondence, School of Cinematic Arts course and department catalogs, faculty and alumni lists, and photographs of the old Cinema building.
