    Scope and Contents

    Newsletters, fliers, and political buttons documenting the activities of the United Farm Workers and National Farm Workers Association in the 1960s in California. In particular, the materials trace the organizations' dealings with the DiGiorgio Company, a major agribusiness. There are six issues of "The Mosquito," a newsletter from Marysville and Yuba City, California, and three issues of "El Malcriado - The Voice of the Farm Worker," published by the Farm Worker Press in Delano, California. There is one flier "Don't Buy California Grapes," produced by the United Farm Workers. Also included are four political buttons: Boycott SCAB Lettuce, Vote UPW, Support Farm Workers, and Si Se Puede/En Las Rosas.
