Davis Enterprise: "Thanks, Coach Sochor", by Tanya Perez, and a special section of the
Davis Enterprise titled "A Tribute to Jim Sochor, 1938-2015."

James L. ("Jim") Sochor (1938-2015) was head football coach at UC Davis from 1970-1988, athletic director from 1989-1991,
and golf coach from 1992-1998. Coach Sochor was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
The collection consists of published articles about Coach Jim Sochor from the
Davis Enterprise: "Thanks, Coach Sochor", by Tanya Perez, and a special section of the
Davis Enterprise titled "A Tribute to Jim Sochor, 1938-2015."
