Biographical / Historical
Walter Seltzer (1914-2011) was an American film producer and publicity director. He worked for companies including Hal Wallis
Productions, Hecht-Lancaster Productions, Glass-Seltzer Productions, and collaborated with Marlon Brando and Charlton Heston
on films.

Scope and Contents
This collection contains film scripts, scrapbooks, and photographs related to the work of American film producer and publicity
director Walter Seltzer (1914-2011), dating from 1953 to 1972. Box 1 contains scripts for thirteen films. There are four scrapbooks
containing press clippings about Seltzer's career and the films he was involved with, photographs, and ephemera about the
films (Boxes 2-3). There are two binders containing contact sheets of photographs, including production stills, related to
the film "The War Lord" (1965) (Box 2).
