Abstract: Collection contains photographs and
some paper materials documenting commercial and residential construction projects completed
by Golden Gate Iron Works (GGIW) between 1925 and 1951. GGIW was a structural steel
manufacturer located in San Francisco, California with fabrication and construction projects
completed in the Alameda, Contra Costa, Kern, Marin, Mendocino, Merced, Monterey, Placer,
San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, and Trinity counties.

Collection contains photographs and some paper materials documenting commercial and
residential construction projects completed by Golden Gate Iron Works (GGIW) between 1925
and 1951. GGIW was a structural steel manufacturer located in San Francisco, California with
fabrication and construction projects completed in the Bay Area and Central California.
