California.
Maynard T. Smith worked on the staff of the Cinema department at the University of Southern California. In the early 1960s,
Smith left USC for a brief period with plans to produce a film in France.
In 1983, Smith went into business with Richard Silverthorn to co-found Simian Word Processing, a company geared toward providing
publishing services for students.
The collection is open to researchers. There are no access restrictions.
