Description
Collection is composed of items – photographs, ephemera, official documents, and several artifacts – that reflect the Cahalan family experience in twentieth-century Sacramento, California, from 1906 to 2006.
Background
The creator of the collection, Timothy M. Beilby, was born in Sacramento, California, on October 1, 1946, to Yvonne (nee Cahalan) and Loren Beilby. He grew up in north Sacramento County, attending public schools and eventually graduating from Encina High School in 1965. Beilby and his wife, Linda, live in Oregon.
