    Scope and Contents

The K.S. Oh family papers, 1908-1999, consist of twenty-six folders relating to Korean dermatologist and professor Kung Sun Oh and his family, created and collected by his grandson Tai K. Oh and gifted to USC by Tai's wife Gretchen Oh. This small collection comprises biographical and genealogical information of the Oh family in the form of birth records, immigration documents, academic records, articles from the Archives of Dermatology, newspaper clippings, and correspondence.
The majority of the materials within the collection relates to K.S. Oh and Tai's own research into his grandfather's history and general family lineage, but there are also items relating to Tai himself, as well as his parents Chin Young and Eui Kyeung Oh, his niece Kyung Lah (a current CNN correspondent) and other relatives. The remainder of the collection includes a few photos, negatives, two calendars, a booklet, and a brochure.
