The Logbook for Voyages of Captain John A. May (SAFR 16502, HDC 224) documents a number of voyages on different vessels from 1851 to 1871. On the bark ROLLA James D. Bult kept the log on a voyage between San Francisco and Valparaiso carrying passengers and cargo. Other voyages recorded were on the ship ZENOBIA from San Francisco to Sitka, on the brig OLGA from San Francisco to Alaska, on the ship CESARAVITSCH between San Francisco and Alaska.
