Description
Seventeen photographs of Yosemite, plus three others of the Monterey coast that may be by Fiske. All of his negatives were
destroyed in two fires (1904 and 1943); only his prints remain today.
Background
Fiske was the first resident photographer in Yosemite, living there for nearly forty years.
