The Committee for a Workers' International was an international association of Trotskyist political parties. It continues to be an organization against capitalism and imperialism. In its publication efforts, the CWI/CIT focused on pamphlets and journals centered around socialist issues.

Scope and Contents

Militant is the publication of the Militant Party, a subset of the Labour Party in England/Wales. The newspaper was used to push forward party agenda and proliferate socialist issues. The Militant Party and the Militant newspaper went hand in hand. However, members of the Militant group eventually disassociated themselves from the Labour Party.

Scope and Contents

Militant Labour is the expansion of Militant after the Militant group's disassociation from the Labour Party in 1991. The newspaper added the "Labour" to the name regardless of the fact that Militant severed ties to the Labour Party.

The Socialist Party is the English/Wales affiliate of the CWI/CIT. While the CWI/CIT include broader events world wide, the Socialist Party covers very specific socialist issues in the United Kingdom. Also important to note is that the Militant newspaper changed its name when the Militant Labour Party changed its name to the Socialist Party. This series includes books, journals, and pamphlets.
