Description
Letters to the Hollywood agency Lichtig & Englander, many addressed directly to Harry Lichtig, from novelists, screenwriters,
editors, actors and actresses. Some of the letters have notes inscribed by the firm regarding action taken. The letters describe
the routine business activities of Hollywood agents during the period 1920s-1950s, particularly in regard to the buying and
selling of scripts.
Restrictions
All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Manuscripts Librarian.
Permission for publication is given on behalf of Special Collections as the owner of the physical items and is not intended
to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained.
