Series 2. Photographs 1905-1933

Processing History

The materials in this series were previously organized as their own collection (MS 76/16) that was processed in 2003 by Paul Atwood and Paige Wooden. During a spring 2020 project this collection was combined with the two other Hiram Savage collections to create a single collections of Savage's works and papers.
Folder titles in this series were transcribed from titles and descriptions that date to the original creation of the materials. In 2022, this series of the finding aid was updated to contextualize use of a racial slur in one of these titles. UCR Library has chosen to retain and add context to the previous use of harmful language, in order to preserve information about how Savage organized and annotated his photographs.
