Description
Correspondence about operating manuals, maintenance manuals, parts lists, a Baldwin Locomotive Works master maintenance bulletin book, and an illustrated parts list sent by John Kirkland to Dick Hulbert from 1984-1986. Subjects include: Baldwin-Hamilton Company's order writing practices, 5208 series fan motors, note about BLW diesel engines Nos. 3695-3700 DS-4-4 1000 saying it covers Santa Fe 2260, parts lists for water pumps for Baldwin diesel-electric locomotives Model 600 diesel engine - Section 28, BLW master maintenance bulletin book, replacement of worn wheels and axle on 5208 shown in Renewal Parts Data Diagrams DP-1607, DP-1410, Service Bulletin No. 210, and SK 3950, ordering information for WIX filters shown in WIX filter catalogue for diesel locomotives, application of seal ring shown in liner flange, shown in sketch No. 4338, the schematic for Southern Pacific 5213-5216 without M.U., schematic wiring diagram for the McCloud River No. 28 and the No. 51, the history of the No. 51, No. 1 (cn 73042, class 660/1IIE 154).

John F. Kirkland (died 2000) was a dealer and representative for the Baldwin Locomotive Works. He was also a railroad representative for WIX Corporation.
