Biographical / Historical

History
Paul H. Hebner, born in Alameda, California in 1956, graduated from New York University in 1988. He has been a professional writer for 32 years. He is the son of a U.S. Navy aviator/crewmember on a Martin Mariner PBM-5 flying boat who served during the Korean conflict. The Mariner/Marlin Association Newsletter publishes material and memoirs documenting the history of the Navy’s two seaplanes, the Mariner (active during WW2 and the Korean conflict) and the Marlin (used in one 1967 engagement in the Vietnam War).
