Adams, an author/editor of science fiction and fantasy. Includes material related to the book series'
Horseclans and
Castaways in Time as well as the anthology
Friends of the Horseclans. A significant portions of the collection is focused on the following titles:
Coming of the Horseclans,
Death of a Legend,
The Seven Magical Jewels of Ireland, and
Of Quests and Kings.

Biographical Note
Franklin Robert Adams was born on August 31, 1933 in the United States. He is best known as an author of science fiction and
fantasy as well as an editor of science fiction anthologies. He wrote and edited under the pen name, Robert Adams. His first
book
Coming of the Horseclans was published in 1975. After this first book, Adams began what would later become his best known book series,
Horseclans. Although the series was never finished, he managed to complete eighteen books before his death. From 1979-1989, Adams also
published the
Castaways in Time book series. And in 1988 he began
The Stairway to Forever book series, but only was able to complete two books in this series. Adams also published several anthologies beginning in
1985 which he coedited with various editors including Martin H. Greenberg, Pamela Crippen Adams, and Charles G. Waugh. Adams
died in Apopka, Florida on January 4, 1990.
