This collection consists of the audio recordings of the NBC Symphony Orchestra.
Background
The NBC Symphony Orchestra was a radio orchestra first broadcasted on November 13, 1937 and continued until it was disbanded
in 1954. David Sarnoff, the president of the Radio Corporation of America, created the symphony especially for the conductor
Arturo Toscanini. The NBC Symphony performed weekly radio concert broadcasts.
