Description
The World War II
Soldier Photograph Album documents the non-combat life of an unidentified soldier. Most
images feature fellow soldiers and include handwritten notes on the front and back of some
of the photos. The photo album includes snapshots of nurses, men eating and drinking in
dining halls, soldiers' living quarters, an outdoor performance space, and more. The photo
album also included a loose newspaper clipping titled "Eddie M. Norton of Milstead reports
the following address" with a photo. The photo album was photocopied in its original state
and then disassembled. Some photographs had already fallen out of the photo album upon its
arrival and were not able to be photographed in their original locations.
