Background
Rayner Brown (1912-1999) was an American composer, organist, and teacher. Brown wrote over 200 compositions. He was a church
organist from 1941 to 1977 at the Wilshire Presbyterian Church. He also taught at Biola University. He was a graduate from
the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in organ and a Master of Music degree in
composition.
