Biographical / Historical
Michael Gleason (1398-2016) was a co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the television show Remington Steele, an American
crime drama, which aired on NBC from 1982 to 1987.

Scope and Contents
This collection contains scripts and related production documents for the American crime television show Remington Steele
(1982-1987), received from co-creator and executive producer Michael Gleason (1938-2016). The uniform collection consists
of a bound file for each episode containing the script, revisions, shooting schedule, and cast list. There are 94 files reflecting
the show's full five seasons of episodes from 1982 to 1987. There is also one folder containing the production schedule, script
progress reports, and release schedules for each season (Box 1, Folder 1). There are no annotations or additional papers reflecting
Gleason's personal involvement with the show.
