This artificial collection consists of 18th century prints that have been mounted on paper. The prints depict images of writers,
and actors and actresses, many in costume, including David Garrick, Mrs. Jordan, Charles Bannister, Mrs. Woffington, Mrs.
Oldfield, Nancy Dawson, Mrs. Clive, Nell Gwynn, Sarah Siddons, Richard Burbadge, and Samuel Johnson; London theaters, including
the Globe and the Drury Lane; and scenes from plays.
All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Manuscripts Librarian.
Permission for publication is given on behalf of Special Collections as the owner of the physical items and is not intended
