Scope and Contents

A series of lecture notes dealing with anatomical and clinical pathology, consisting of more than 400 pages of manuscript text with approximately 30 lines per page, and with 400 pages of finely hand-drawn and hand-colored drawings facing the text. The drawings are detailed microscopic anatomy of cells and diseased tissues. Arnold provides descriptions of organs and tissues with microscopic examination of normal and diseased cells. Among the diseases and disorders which are described, discussed, classified and illustrated: malaria, tumors, blood diseases, lupus, leprosy, lung diseases, skin diseases and wounds.
