The James Gregory papers span the years circa 1950s to 1970s and encompass 14 linear feet. The
collection consists of personal and miscellaneous files, correspondence, and personal photographs. Many
of the files contain Gregory's research material on actors and actresses in the form of clippings and
interview transcripts.

James Gregory is an American author most active during the 1960s and 1970s. He wrote books on Lucille
Ball, David Cassidy, Elvis Presley, and others. He is not to be confused with the film and television
charactor actor James Gregory (1911-2002).
