Background
Dr. Frank Neil Pohorlak (1907-1988) was an ordained minister, Bible scholar, and editor of various Christian periodical publications.
In the 1940s, he taught a radio program entitled Crossroads Counselor. He contributed to numerous periodicals including “The
Link,” “Revelation,” “Our Hope”, “Revelator,” and “War Cry.” In the 1960s, Dr. Pohorlak worked as Contributing Editor with
the “Unsearchable Riches” magazine -- a publication of Concordant Press dispensationalists founded by Adolf Ernest Knoch and
Vladimir Gelesnoff. Dr. Pohorlak was an enthusiastic proponent of Knoch’s literal translation of the Bible.
Dr. Pohorlak’s relationship with Concordant Publishing Concern lasted approximately 50 years. He wrote two booklets, numerous
pamphlets, tracts and articles, and conducted Bible studies called ScriptuResearch. He also served as editor for the Concordant
Old Testament and the Concordant Keyword Concordance.
