Description
This collection consists of the organizational records of the Santa Barbara Public Library, including annual reports, correspondence,
clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, deeds and contracts, registers, circulation and catalog books, dating from the 1870s through
the 2010s. Scrapbooks include a complete collection of Faulkner Gallery art exhbition catalogs, with press clippings, from
1929 to 1937, as well as some artifacts, artwork, and ephemera.
Restrictions
Property rights to the collection and physical objects belong to the Regents of the University of California acting through
the Department of Special Research Collections at the UCSB Library. All applicable literary rights, including copyright to
the collection and physical objects, are protected under Chapter 17 of the U.S. Copyright Code and are retained by the creator
and the copyright owner, heir(s), or assigns.
