This collection contains correspondence written by numerous authors sent to Ruth Hoffman during the Second World War. Also
included are photos and other documents.
Background
Ruth Hoffman was born January 2, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed away on October 18, 2013. She was married to Clifford
Earl Stanley on December 16, 1945. There are photographs of Clifford in the collection but no letters saved by Ruth. They
had three girls, Sharon (donor), Milanie, and Stephanie.
