Biography

Woody Allen was born Allen Stewart Konigsberg in Brooklyn, New York. He is an American director, screenwriter, actor, comedian, author and playwright. Allen has been nominated 24 times and has received Academy Awards for writing and directing ANNIE HALL (1977) and for writing HANNAH AND HER SISTERS (1986) and MIDNIGHT IN PARIS (2011).
