Description
This collection consists of organizational records of the Monterey County chapter of Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians
and Gays (PFLAG), including founding documentation, board meeting minutes, and newsletters.
Background
Founded in 1972, PFLAG is the nation's largest LGBTQ family and ally organization, with a network of over 400 chapters. PFLAG
provides support, education and advocacy for people who are LGBTQ, their families, and their allies.
