Description
Saticoy Lionettes was a women's auxiliary group of the Saticoy Lions Club, whose purpose was to promote sociability among its members as well as promote civic welfare. Saticoy Lionettes formed in 1964 and the collection includes the club's organizational records and scrapbooks detailing their activities together and within the community.
Background
Saticoy Lionettes was a women's auxiliary group of the Saticoy Lions Club. Installation of officers was held November 9, 1964 at the Wagon Wheel restaurant. The purpose of the club was to promote sociability, friendliness and understanding among members and to foster and promote social and civil welfare. Charter officers included Gerry Fall, President; Dorothy Keith, Vice-President; Margaret Boles, Secretary; Barbara Stocks, Treasurer; Vicki Garcia, Historian.
