Correspondence, billheads, invoices, bids, estimates, reports, contracts, receipts, financial accounts, and receipts of Palmer,
relating to his construction jobs throughout Calif., both in partnership, primarily as part of Palmer & McBryde and of S.H.
Palmer & J.P. Holland, Inc., and alone, mostly under the name S.H. Palmer Co., Ltd. Projects include several Calif. highways,
particularly the Santa Monica Highway (1932-1934); dams, including the Spring Valley and the Calaveras Dams; stadiums, including
Kezar Stadium, then known as Golden Gate Park Stadium, Stanford University Stadium, and the stadium at the University of California,
Berkeley. Several railroad companies and power companies are also represented as clients. Also includes industrial accident
reports and insurance contracts (1914-1934) and invoices for materials and equipment obtained at Livermore Yard.
