    This collection includes a letter from Frank Bryan to the Southwest Museum librarian, a typed manuscript by Bryan entitled "Some Notes on Where Traveled the Men Who Began the Written History of the Region From the Mississippi River West to the Waters of the Rio Grande," a published manuscript by Bryan entitled "Notes on the Travel of De Soto and His Army to the West of the Mississippi," and two maps drawn by Bryan recording the travel routes discussed in the manuscripts. Materials are dated 1960 February-June.
