Description
The personal papers of April Martin Chartrand, a Black queer researcher, artist, and counselor who co-founded the Bay Area Women of Color Photo Project. The material includes binders of Chartrand’s research and advocacy papers, especially those created during her master’s studies at San Francisco State University, and materials related to Chartrand’s book, “Angel’s Destiny: A Novel Story of Poems and Illustrations”; and various other personal papers and a flash drive.
