Abstract: Leland House is one of California’s largest housing facilities for people living with HIV/AIDS. Located in San Francisco,
CA, it opened as a residential care facility for the chronically ill in 1997. It was operated by Catholic Charities. In 2021,
it was announced that Leland House would be changing to a transitional residential care facility with PRC assuming leadership.
The collection includes 1 quilt panel and 5 framed photograph collages memorializing the lives of Leland House residents who
have passed.
