Abstract: Captain A.F. Raynaud papers (SAFR 17394, HDC 261) consists of the following items: one page of an article "Home From The Sea"
by Bob and Jan Young about the new State maritime monument at Hyde Street pier; a letter dated September 10, 1938 from Jerry
MacMullen to Captain Raynaud; an article "On Board the Steamer MAINE Enroute to Balboa" dated October 14, 1938 by Captain
Raynaud to Jerry MacMullen; a letter from Captain Raynaud to "Sara" regarding the schooner C.A. THAYER crew's head dated February
5, 1957; photocopies of newspaper articles about the new State maritime monument; and a description and drawing of Haviside
sail loft and building on Steuart Street in San Francisco by Captain Raynaud as told to Harold Huycke in 1996. The collection
is available for research use without restriction.
