The Sam Hort photographs, 1923, 1925, (SAFR 24434, P12-002) are comprised of a photograph of Sam Hort while second mate of WILLIAM H. SMITH (built 1899; schooner, 4m) and a photograph of the third lieutenant and another man aboard TONAWANDA (built 1892; ship, 3m).
