Background
Richard B. Glickman began his film career in 1959 as chief engineer of ColorTran Industries and in
1971 became an independent consulting engineer. Glickman was honored by the Academy with a Technical
Achievement Award in 1964 and the John A. Bonner Medal of Commendation in 2003.
