Content Description

This collection consists of approximately 950 photos and 144 postcards of the Honda family and other scenes. The Honda family lived in Sacramento and California starting in the 1910s. The images depict family life, street scenes, school assemblies, church congregations, funerals, weddings, Boy Scouts, social gatherings, and landmarks. The collection also includes images from the Tule Lake Internment Camp. The locations are primarily in California and Japan but also include other locations. The captions on the photographs are primarily in Japanese, while the postcard captions are in English and Japanese.
