Scope and content:

This collection consists of the records of the Coastal Resources Information Center (CRIC) of Santa Barbara, California, dating from the 1970s to 2012. Material includes clippings, data sheets, files on Central Coast of California preservation issues, local environmental groups, and coastal reserves and conservancies including the Coal Oil Point Reserve, the Goleta Slough, and the Gaviota Coast Conservancy. Also included are various newsletters, including runs of the Coastal Resources Information Center newsletter (1993-1998 and 2003-2011), and Coastal Resources Information Center informational files, handouts, and correspondence.
