Scope and Content

Newsletters, brochures, flyers, and clippings documenting the activities of gay and lesbian rights organizations, mainly in Santa Barbara, California, with some items from Pennsylvania State University and California State University Long Beach.
Santa Barbara area organizations represented in this collection include the Western Addiction Services Program (WASP), the Santa Barbara Coalition for Human Rights, the Gay and Lesbian Business Association, the Greater Santa Barbara Community Assocation, the Gay and Lesbian Resource Center, and the Pacific Pride Foundation. The bulk of the material dates to the 1970s-1980s.
